Library Services has recently adopted a new tool to help make higher education more affordable for your students. When fully implemented, the tool (currently called Leganto) will enable you to easily create interactive course resource lists that seamlessly connect library resources, such as books, eBooks, journals, journal articles, streaming video, and freely available materials, such as Open Educational Resources, Open Access articles, TED Talks, Library Guides (LibGuides), websites and more directly into your D2L course.
Here is a short 10 minute demonstration video. Please note that not all features demonstrated in the video will be initially available.
We are currently seeking faculty who would like to be early adopters for the spring semester 2025. A larger campus launch is currently planned for fall 2025.
If you would like to learn more or if you are interested in becoming an early adopter, please contact Heidi Southworth.
Here are some MSU specific videos on how to create a list in Leganto, how to add items to a list in Leganto, and how to submit your list to the library.
