Textbook Affordability

Information on textbook affordability initiatives at Minnesota State University, Mankato

Class Resource List (Leganto) is Here!

Leganto is a new product, supported by Library Services, PALS, IT Solutions, and MinnState Information Technology Services, that allows faculty to easily create class resource lists that seamlessly connect library resources, such as books, eBooks, journals, journal articles, streaming video, and freely available materials, such as Open Educational Resources, Open Access articles, TED Talks, Library Guides (LibGuides), websites, and more directly into a D2L course.  Leganto allows you to quickly assemble a curated list of citations for your students to access content through library subscriptions and resources or through freely available materials for a specific class or around a specific topic.  Leganto supports textbook affordability by making library and freely available content directly available in D2L.

We are currently seeking faculty who would like to be early adopters.  A larger campus launch is currently planned for fall 2025.

If you would like to learn more or if you are interested in becoming an early adopter, please contact Heidi Southworth.
