Textbook Affordability Advisory Committee

Formed in Spring 2025, the Textbook Affordability Advisory Committee is designed to help us advance open education and affordable textbook options for faculty. It is a key strategy in advancing equity measures on campus. The group is led by the Dean of Library & Learning and our faculty librarian responsible for textbook affordability. Rather than seek a member from each college, we draw upon faculty who have already completed OER learning circles with the system office.

Committee Members include:

  • Kris Brockman, Maverick Shop Bookstore
  • Brooke Burk, CETL
  • Chris Corley, Dean of Library and Learning
  • Emily Dittrich, Student Government

  • Maria Kalyvaki, Marketing
  • Heather McIntosh, Film and Media Studies
