How to Register or Set-Up an Account (No Cost to Students)

Some business sources require students to register or sign-up for a student account. Please note, there is no cost to you as a student when setting up an account.

Checkpoint EDGE - Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting
Access federal, state, and local tax codes as well as regulations, cases, rulings, and other tax related materials. To use the various database applications (e.g., Notes, Folders, Notifications, etc.) you will need to register for a student account.

NOTE: Checkpoint student IDs are temporary and will automatically expire on July 31st and December 31st. If you are no longer enrolled as a student at MSU, Mankato, you will be unable to register for a student Checkpoint ID.
