The Dr. Mary T. Dooley Map Library houses over 185,000 cartographic materials, including maps, air photos, atlases, reference books, and globes. Our collections cover all over the world, with an emphasis on Minnesota and the local region. We are located on the first floor in the southeast corner of the Memorial Library.
Our primary goal is to use our collections to support the teaching, learning, and research needs of Minnesota State University, Mankato students, faculty, and staff in service of the state, region, and global community. We offer research assistance and in-class instructional sessions.

Reference help is available at the Memorial Library on the first floor. The Maps Library Technician may assist you at the Maps Desk or by phone Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Outside of these hours, librarians are available at the Reference Desk on the first floor of the library or by phone (507-389-5958) or Ask a Librarian.
