Ever wonder how an illustrated young adult novel is created? If so, come join us for an evening with the creators of the young adult novel Original Fake. Traverse the world of Frankie Neumann, an introvert with secret artistic aspirations, who is about to meet his idol the notorious and anonymous street artist Uncle Epic. When Frankie is approached by the errand runners for Uncle Epic to become a member of the renegade-art crew, he can't believe his luck--an opportunity to pursue his dreams while seeking revenge against his insufferable sister. Employing not only words but graphic panels to tell this hilarious and heartfelt story, explore how it came to be; not to mention how the story unfolds.
The event is scheduled for Monday, November 7th, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. to be held at the Blue Earth County Library in the Auditorium.
Cannot get to the event? Not a problem. Live streaming of the event can be accessed here -- http://portal.stretchinternet.com/mnsuadmin/
At the end of the event, a drawing will be held to give away an autographed copy of the book.
Hope to see you there!
