Accessing the Capital IQ database at MNSU requires you to complete the two-factor authentication process via EZProxy to verify you are currently enrolled. You must then log in to the resource via S&P Global Market Intelligence (Company or Vendor verification).
Using either the Google Chrome or Microsoft EDGE browser, access the Library Services homepage -- http://library.mnsu.edu
Click on "Databases A-Z"
Click on the letter "C" from the alphabet displayed at the top of the page
Click on the Capital IQ link
Click on the purple box labeled "Access Database"
Enter your STARID and STARID password. DO NOT AUTOFILL OR COPY and PASTE your STARID and STARID password.
After being directed to the S&P Global login page, enter your Capital IQ username and then your password. DO NOT AUTOFILL OR COPY and PASTE your username and password.
Remember to logout of Capital IQ. Failure to logout may result in temporarily locking you out of the database when you next try to login. If locked out, try resetting your password.
If you are unable to access the Capital IQ database, try resetting your password and/or clearing your cache and closing all open browser tabs. Here is a link to instructions for clearing the cache in various types of browsers -- https:services.mnsu.edu/TDClient/30/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=202
NOTE: If after five attempts you fail to correctly enter your Capital IQ username and/or password, you may be temporarily unable to access the database. Wait thirty minutes and try to login again or reset your password.
