ELM is a collection of online resources purchased for use by all Minnesota residents. ELM gives Minnesota students continuous online access to magazine, journal, encyclopedia, and newspaper articles, including information on literature, history, social studies, math, science, biographies, images, videos, maps, and more. ELM also includes tools to help get started and wrap up research projects and papers. This link goes to directly to ELM. As an MSU student, you should access ELM resources via the Library website (Databases A-Z) to have access to all Library resources. Use this link to ELM when working with K-12 students and other Minnesota residents who are not affiliated with MSU.

The Minnesota department of education special education Division of Compliance and Assistance is responsible for ensuring each district demonstrates general compliance and continuous improvement in the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). All districts in Minnesota are assigned to one of six monitoring groups

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a law ensuring services to children with disabilities throughout the nation. IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education and related services to more than 6.5 million eligible infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities.
Infants and toddlers with disabilities (birth-2) and their families receive early intervention services under IDEA Part C. Children and youth (ages 3-21) receive special education and related services under IDEA Part B.

The National Center on Intensive Interventions (NCII) is housed at the American Institutes for Research, and works in conjunction with many of our nation's most distinguished data-based individualization (DBI) experts. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and is part of OSEP's Technical Assistance and Dissemination Network (TA&D).

The IRIS Center offers a wide variety of resources and services to suit a diverse set of instructional needs and circumstances.

The goal of the WWC is to be a resource for informed education decision making. To reach this goal, the WWC identifies studies that provide credible and reliable evidence of the effectiveness of a given practice, program, or policy (referred to as “interventions”), and disseminates summary information and free reports on the WWC website.
