Film and Video Collections

Guide to DVDs, videotapes, and streaming video at Minnesota State Mankato. Find films, videos, and some feature films.

Streaming overview

MavScholar does include links streaming video titles. Use the search box below and check the "streaming videos only" option. Note that Kanopy's requestable titles will not appear in this search, so also check Kanopy directly.

Kanopy Streaming -- Please check title status in advance. If not currently active, submit the title request form within Kanopy. Allow 2-3 business days for title to be made available.

Additional streaming video collections are available as listed.

To find out if streaming is available through other options, please contact the Library. If a film title cannot be easily licensed for streaming, it may be possible for DVDs to be digitized and loaded into MediaSpace using Fair Use as applied to online-only instruction.

Wondering where streaming access is available via personal streaming services? JustWatch lists all major streaming services. Most of these subscription services offer a free trial period before charging a monthly fee.
