Film and Video Collections

Guide to DVDs, videotapes, and streaming video at Minnesota State

Educational Resource Center, Memorial Library

Audiovisual collections are located in the Educational Resource Center (ERC) in the lower level of Memorial Library. The ERC houses a collection of approximately 10,000 DVDs and videotapes. We also provide access to over 10,000 titles as streaming video.

Film titles can be searched through the Library catalog.

Limit format to Videorecording to see film titles available regardless of format; limit format to Electronic Video to see only titles available as streaming video.

Streaming video providers add new video titles frequently. Check Kanopy, Docuseek, and Ambrose directly for most up-to-date information. Alexander Street databases are static and do not add new titles. tutorials are subscribed to by ITS and are therefore not found in Library catalog.

DVDs and videotape can be checked out with MavCard or valid library card. For streaming video, as with other licensed resources, off-campus access is provided to students, faculty, and staff via authentication with their starID login. Community users can view most streaming video while in the library.
