Students will work in groups to conduct an analysis of their expectation of a good non-profit that they plan to set up. This assignment will enhance your task group skills and your understanding of organization theory, structure, function and operation. This analysis will include an internal and external task environment of the organization as part of this project and a group presentation sharing your findings. Students will work in their groups to develop a community asset map for the problem that their agencies are working. The community asset map should demonstrate the resources available in the community that can help to improve the well-being of the people. Two things that expected in this assignment are the community asset map and a narrative of what and how the assets can contribute to solving the problem and improving the well-being of the people.
