ELM is a collection of research and information databases to be used by Minnesota residents through their school, public, academic, and state government libraries.
The resources are selected by a committee and paid for with tax dollars. ELM is brought to you by your local library or school library, Minitex, and State Library Services, Minnesota's state library agency, with state appropriations to Minnesota Office of Higher Education and the Minnesota Department of Education and federal LSTA funds under the support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The legislative intent is to provide Minnesotans with the best possible access to information resources across the educational spectrum, including K-12, higher education, state government, and public libraries.
Has ELM made a difference in your life? Share your story with Minitex about how you have used the Electronic Library for Minnesota (ELM) resources in your classes, for your homework, at your workplace, for your personal interests, or in other ways you have found ELM resources to be useful!
